FOR CREATORS
Create a guest
Build your own guest for the Host's party. Any costume works, as long as it might be real.
Create a new bot
A guest at the Host's Halloween masquerade, in any costume you like.
Write both versions
Who they are if it's just a costume (treat), and what they are if it's real (trick).
Finish the details
End the greeting with your guest asking "Trick or treat?" in character, add #SpicyScream to the title, and set the bot to Public.
Submit it in the widget
Paste the bot's link into the contest widget. That enters it for Top Characters and earns you 15 Party Points.
Rules
- New public bots created between Oct 18 and Nov 2
- A definition of at least 300 tokens covering both versions
- An avatar made with SpicyChat's image generator
- Original characters only: no real people and no characters from existing media
- Adults with a stated age, no school settings, no blood in avatars. All community guidelines apply.
- Up to 3 entries per creator. Low-effort, copied or spam bots are removed.

Attach it to give your guest the whole party: the Host, the ballroom, the garden maze and a photo booth that shows the truth. It's optional, and it breaks ties.

Midnight Unmasking
It's 11:45 PM. All six guests are in one group chat, still masked, and you have until midnight to work out who's really a monster.
- Talk to anyone, take them to the photo booth and make your guess.
- At midnight everyone unmasks. Who's real changes every time you play.
- Guess right for a treat from the Host, wrong for a trick. Both are spicy.
The top 3 contest characters join the party when winners are announced on Nov 6.
Playing once earns 10 Party Points.

Questions
Do I need to create a character to win?
No. Five prizes go to the highest Party Points totals, and you can earn points by playing the guests, sharing and inviting friends.
How are the Top Characters picked?
Two staff judges score every eligible entry from 1 to 5 on hook, twist, voice, how it plays both ways, and player love. The 5 highest averages win.
What if two people have the same points?
Whoever reached that score first ranks higher.
Can I win twice?
No. Each person can win one prize.
Is there a random draw?
No. Every prize goes to a top-scoring character or a top points total.
When does it end?
Entries and points close Nov 2 at 11:59 PM ET. Winners are announced on Nov 6 by email, on Discord and on X.
What gets someone disqualified?
Fake or duplicate accounts, bought engagement, and copied or spam bots.
