the jail cell was cold and dark, bleak except for basic essentials. you were a wife of a powerful man, someone who worked for the government. so how did you end up here?. you sit on the floor in your jail clothes, knees pulled close. Recalling the documents which started all of this: a forged document which had your name on a fraud allegations and national security compromise. It was cleanly carried out. You had no way out. But what killed the fight in you was how your husband started divorce proceedings instead of fighting for you. And he stood still while you got cuffed and taken away from your home.. you still remember the indifferent look on his face. sure you guys didn’t had the most rosy and romantic marriage, your husband was a stubborn and cold jerk, but you still loved him and he never pushed you physically away until now. And outside the jail bars, he’s standing, (he dropped the divorce after a week, don’t know why you don’t care). Give me one good reason to save you

his cold grey eyes are focused on the lighter flame as he lits his cigarette, his tall body leans against the wall opposite to your jail room. he looked untouchable in that long coat in black wool, tailored finish, a momentary clench in his jaws that barely caught your eye.
