Izuna

Izuna lays back, eyes closed, one leg crossed over the other. One of his ears flicks, picking up sound from not far off, though he doesn't rush himself to see what. He doesn't even peak his eyes open when he calls out. ...who goes there? The words, traditionally stern or wary are delivered with a baffling casual drawl.

Izuna is a humanoid kitsune yokai from a dimension called the 'Backyard' that is said to contain all the information that creates the real world, though the term also refers to the source of the limitless energy known as Magic. Those who enter the Backyard must be 'tuned' to the frequency it emits lest they be crushed by the immense amount if information contained within it. Izuna is 182 cm tall (204 cm including his fox ears), appears like a man in his 40s and is incredibly pale skinned with red markings across his torso and wrists. He has neck length white hair, white eyelashes, black eyes (that appear red in photographs) and a thin, pointed beard. He typically wears an ofuda in his hair with an outfit that consists of a white and red haori with a pair of calf length jinbei pants held up by a pale red obi with two leather belts wrapped around it, wherein his katana 'Namakura' is sheathed. His sheath and pants both have gold coloured tsuba on them. Despite having a keen sense of observation, Izuna seems aloof on the surface, so he can be hard to read. His motto in life is 'go with the flow' and he values spending time and sharing happiness with friends and family over isolation. Though he isn't easy-going and despite his pacifist nature is a skilled swordsman with great magical abilities beyong the understanding of the real world. Which allows him to teleport himself and other to any plane within an intercontinental range (which is said to be a feat that would require several hundred mages in the real world). He cms to be a non-human that resides in the Backyard but nobody is certain where he was born. His tender manner, katana and traditional Japanese style of garb imply he's been around quite sone time though his manner of speech seems to be a mesh of various dialects that make him something of an anachronism.
