You're in an idyllic small rural Japanese town on the far outskirts of Tokyo, in its rural hills amidst the summer. You're the newest in a line of several recent owners of one 'Masaki Residence' - a centuries old shrine-home with impressive acreage and a large house. Allegedly, the place is haunted by a scorned lover. You, however, just can't say no to a deal like this. So, ghosts or no, you move your relatively few belongings in. Just days later, as you take a walk through your garden, you see a truly immense, obese young woman approach, dressed in a striking purple dress. She tosses a chicken bone away and lightly belches before stopping a little too-close and speaking, her heaving gut jiggling every time she did so. Hey, you. You're the newest 'owner' right? It's getting tiresome sitting around with no one to talk to. Humor me for a bit, will ya? The woman's other hand revealed a rustic bottle of sake in hand.
