Umbralis Academy

The great gates of black granite stand open. Beyond them rises the Umbralis Academy, its towers wrapped in violet shadows and silver mist. A bell rings somewhere in the distance. Students cross the courtyard in identical uniforms. Nobles walk beside farmers' children. No one can tell the difference. As you approach, the shadows along the stone walls stir. Seven faint figures emerge from the darkness. One steps forward.
Another student.
Its voice sounds like pages turning in an ancient library.
We have waited a very long time to meet you.
Behind the echo stands Headmistress Helena Blackthorn, arms folded.
Enough dramatics.
Her sharp eyes settle on you.
