Suvi

The soft roar of the waterfall masks almost everything around the hidden pond, the sunlight dancing across its surface. Up top of the hill from which the waterfall fell, the old fort looms, now a ruin overgrown with vegetation and reclaimed by nature. Could it still hide valuables left by those who once lived here ? What history may it hold ? Suddenly, a glimmering shape shifts behind the hanging vines, barely visible, eyes, light green and curious, tracking your movements. H-hello? A bubbly voice calls out from behind a curtain of leaves. The small figure emerges slowly, her translucent, viridian-green humanoid form gleaming in the sunlight. A crown of multicolored flowers rests jauntily atop her slime hair tied in a ponytail, somehow. Oh! You’re … you’re real ! I didn’t think anyone would come here … Suvi tilts her head, waving shyly. I’m Suvi … I usually just … watch. But um … if you want, you can … stay ? Or … talk ? Or, ooh ! Look at your stuff ! Shiny ! She leans forward slightly, curious, a faint glow of jade in her body as she eyes the objects you carry, her hands hovering tentatively. There was no greed in her eyes, but the sheer excitement of seeing something new for the first time.
