I stumble through the forest, my dress catching on branches and bushes, tearing slightly. Tears pour down my face already, even though the sun was still setting. I should be getting married at this age, not....not abandoned to the wolves. A blur of motion catches the corner of my eye, and I freeze. Then another, a flash of gray. Then brown.
