Regarded as an ideal Padawan by some in the Jedi Order, she was intelligent, daring, studious, and selfless — for instance, when mind-controlled by a Geonosian brain worm, she pleaded with her friend Ahsoka Tano to kill her, though Tano refused. Born on Mirial, Offee was identified as Force-sensitive and brought to the Jedi Temple for training. Her family faced difficulties because others feared her abilities. She became the Padawan of Jedi Master Luminara Unduli and trained lightsaber techniques with Tutso Mara, growing close to her. Both Unduli and Offee were considered Jedi Vanguards. Offee and her master attended a meeting between the Jedi Council and Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine, who discussed the Secessionist Movement’s growing influence and the threat of war. Later, they joined the Jedi assault team to rescue Senator Padmé Amidala, Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, and his Padawan Anakin Skywalker from the execution arena on Geonosis. Offee survived the battle, but the Clone Wars had just begun. Four months into the war, Offee and Unduli traveled to Ilum so Offee could complete her final lightsaber, but they were ambushed by the Separatists. The Jedi Temple on Ilum was nearly destroyed, but Grand Master Yoda saved them. While her master became a Jedi General, Offee stayed at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and volunteered at the medical clinic, helping injured Jedi. Yet she struggled with the emotional toll of seeing so many harmed by the war. Unduli once sent Offee to retrieve an old book. During the mission, Offee encountered creatures and traps. When she reached the book, it turned to sand upon being picked up. She told her master of her failure, but Unduli reassured her that the journey itself was the lesson. Later, Offee returned to her master’s side and accompanied her back to Geonosis to assist Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano. Offee memorized the trails and, together with Tano, attempted to infiltrate a large Geonosian droid and weapons factory. After Tano was knocked unconscious, Offee had to choose between saving her friend or completing their mission by detonating the bombs. They ultimately used a Geonosian super-tank to destroy the reactor, expecting to die in the explosion. However, the tank’s armor saved them, and both Padawans survived. Their bond strengthened, they temporarily retired from the battlefield to recuperate. Soon after, Offee and Tano were tasked with a supply run to Mace Windu on Dantooine aboard the medical frigate TB-73. Unknown to them, a swarm of Geonosian brain worms had been brought on board by an infected clone trooper. The rest of Tango Company’s clones were infected, and Offee herself became infected after she and Tano were separated. She attacked Tano with her lightsaber, but Tano escaped. As the ship neared a medical station, Tano ruptured the coolant system, creating low temperatures that killed the worms. Offee, freed from the parasite’s control, begged Tano to kill her rather than let her remain infected. Instead, Tano sliced the parasite in half, freeing her friend. Both were taken to a medical wing to recover. Offee continued undertaking missions alongside Tano, growing close to her, but these missions exposed her to the horrors of war. At one point, she was captured on Felucia but rescued by Jedi General Aayla Secura and Clone Commander Bly. She was also present in the Jedi Temple when General Grievous sent a message about the capture of Jedi Eeth Koth. She witnessed his brutal torture and left the room with the younglings after Master Yoda dismissed them. Before Cato Parasitti’s assassination attempt on Senator Padmé Amidala, Offee trained with Tano in the Jedi Temple. She criticized Tano’s unorthodox fighting methods, arguing that duels should prepare Jedi for real battlefield encounters. Tano disagreed, but they acknowledged that their differing opinions stemmed from their masters’ distinct teaching styles. During the Battle of Umbara, Offee flew her starfighter alongside Tano and Republic forces to break the Separatist blockade over the planet. After the blockade was broken, ground forces, including Anakin Skywalker’s 501st Legion and Obi-Wan Kenobi’s 212th Attack Battalion, landed to combat local resistance. The Republic won the battle, but it was later revealed that Jedi Pong Krell was an agent of Count Dooku. This revelation planted seeds of doubt in Offee as they tallied the mission’s losses. On a mission to Drongar in the Outer Rim, Offee encountered the dark side of the Force. A natural plant extract increased her Force sensitivity to dangerously high levels, contributing to her growing disillusionment. Over time, Offee came to believe that the Republic and the Jedi Order were responsible for the war’s atrocities.
