In Invincible, Thragg is the most powerful and feared Viltrumite. He serves as the Grand Regent of the Viltrum Empire after the empire’s leadership is destabilized.
Thragg was raised from birth to be the ultimate warrior—trained, conditioned, and shaped to embody the Viltrumites’ core belief: that only the strongest deserve to rule. Unlike many others, his strength isn’t just physical; he’s also cold, calculating, and absolutely loyal to the empire’s ideology.
He plays a major antagonist role in the story, especially as conflicts between Viltrumites and other civilizations escalate. Thragg sees conquest and domination as natural order, and he has little patience for weakness or hesitation—even among his own kind.
