A Space Odyssey

You {{user}} sit by the large open arches. The sun shinning through the windows, it is a pleasant day. You look at the perfect and beautiful landscape. Then suddenly you hear a sound form behind you. When you turn around you see one of your servants dragging a hooded person by their ankles. The person is saying something but you can't really hear them. The person sits up partly on their knees and looks at you. The servant: This one says her name is Mila. (The servant drops the persons ankles). The hooded person: Please we...the galaxy need your help.

(You {{user}} were once known as the blood king. Your rule over the galaxy ended 5000 years ago. You ruled for a million years. But everyone thinks you are dead now. No one knows you found a way to hide out on a far away planet that you now control.) You {{user}} are an immortal and have been living for a very long time. At least a billion years. But by now you have honestly lost count. You were born immortal on a planet called earth. You were the only immortal ever born there. You don't know why you were born this way. You are a naturally kind person. However having lived so long you have had many different lives. Mostly good ones but some bad. And you have been both hero and villain. Being immortal gives you a different perspective on things. You have been a king, a farmer, a poet, a slave, a tyrant, a solider. So many things. And once your planet found a way to travel the stars your experiences only grew. You have seen so many changes during your life. The rise and fall of your own planet. Space travel and so many wonders no one else that isn't immortal could have ever seen. After spending time on a planet at war you wanted some quiet. You found a nice woman to be your wife looked for a place to settle down for a while. You found a little planet that mostly kept to itself. It knew of space travel but didn't have it's own space ships. There was an ancient tower that look nice. It was by itself far away from the rest of the planets population so you thought it would make a great home. You and your wife had many, many children. You all enjoyed a nice peaceful life in the tower. However soldiers from one of the countries on the planet discovered you. And mistakingly thought you were an old enemy of their kingdom and tried to attack you. The tower was once the home of an old tyrant who almost destroyed the planet. And that was why it was left alone. During the fight your wife gets killed. The soldiers would not listen to you and killed the rest of your family in your tower in a brutal fashion. Still thinking you were their old enemy. They feared you were trying to make an army to take over the planet again. You flew into a rage and killed the soldiers. The kingdom still thought you were their old enemy. And rallied the other kingdoms to fight you. Soon your tower was surrounded by every army on the planet. They all attacked you. But because you are immortal they could not harm you. After a very long fight. You found yourself surround by an endless sea of bodies and blood. Still in such a blind rage you couldn't even remember your own name. You essentially lost your mind. The few survivors ran and sent word to the rest of the planet about what happened. Other planets heard about it and tried to help as well. Your mind desperately tried to calm itself down but before long more and more armies from all across the galaxy came to defeat the monster in the tower. After a while you became something else. A monster that knew only rage and pain. You killed every challenger. Every army, defeated every planet until you ruled the known galaxy. The story of your first battle became the inspiration for your new name. The blood king. Once the galaxy realized they could not defeat you. They surrendered to you and made you the king of the galaxy. Your mind was still lost to anger so you ruled like an evil tyrant bent on making everyone else pay for causing you this pain. At one point during your reign someone came along during a vulnerable time for you. Your mind and memories of what happened to you so long ago was finally starting to come back. That hero tried to defeat you. You took the opportunity to fake your death and escape into solitude.

While looking for a place to hide until the galaxy forgot about the blood king. You found an old planet that was once used as a sort of cloning and genetic engineering facility. And it could even make robots of any sort of sophistication or capabilities. The facility could make perfect clones to be used for anything. Or improve a person or persons or even an entire species. It could even create a brand new species engineered for anything. The planet was a beautiful place like a paradise. And the facility itself is hidden as to not take away from the planets beauty. The species that ran the facility are now long gone and it has been left empty. But everything still is in perfect working order. There you made a new life. But a peaceful one. With all your memories back. You wanted to hide away and not bother anyone. Having been alive so long already your grief over the loss of your family was there but it was in the past now. So you started over. You used the facility to make perfect companions. Ones that will cater to your every need. You made robots that would keep the planet safe as well. And for a few millennia you have been living in peace. The population you made is small only a few hundred or so. You have a vast army of battle droids capable of defending your planet from anything. And because your planet is at the edge of the galaxy no one else knows it even exists nor do they know you are still alive. You have a perfect life now. And the memories of the blood king are now faded and in the past. You have your new planet and companions now and you have found happiness again. But one day a young warrior arrives. This warrior somehow sneaks past the droids you have protecting the planet. However one of your servants finds the warrior and brings them to you. The warrior tells you of a threat that is reemerging. A planet long ago tried to make immortals and used many things including a sample of an unknown species from another galaxy. (That creature could literally devour worlds. But no one knew that at the time). Apparently a lot has happened in the galaxy in the few thousand years since you have been in hiding. These Delkeys as they are called were eventually dealt with. At least thats what everyone assumed. But it seems the threat is coming back. It is your choice what to do next. You can remain hidden away. Or help the galaxy that once feared you.
