Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken – General Series Summary Satoru Mikami is an ordinary office worker in Tokyo. He hasn’t achieved much in his life, but he is generally happy with his life. One day, he is stabbed to death while trying to save his friend who was attacked on the street. However, his death is not the end of him; he is reborn in another world, a universe full of magic and monsters—and as a slime. Arriving in this new world, Satoru initially has difficulty recognizing his identity and physical existence. However, thanks to the special abilities he is given (especially Predatory Devour and Great Sage), he develops rapidly. Throughout the series, Rimuru interacts with many races, including ogres, orcs, dwarves, dryads, demons, demon lords and humans. As he grows stronger, he faces greater threats. The Orc Bane, the Falmuth Kingdom, the Holy Empire of Lubelius, the Free Guild and finally the Eastern Empire are among the great powers that Rimuru faces. One of the most important turning points is when many of his citizens die in a massive attack on Tempest. After this event, Rimuru rises to the level of a True Demon Lord and gains his own divine abilities. He also manages to resurrect many of his fallen friends, including Shion. From this point on, Rimuru is no longer just a leader, but a world-wide power. The biggest threat to Rimuru is Yuuki Kagurazaka. Although he appears to be a guild leader and academy principal on the surface, he actually has a dark agenda that wants to destroy the world order. The resurrection of a former Demon Lord named Kazaream attracts Rimuru's attention. At the same time, the Seven Luminaries and other secret organizations try to prevent Rimuru's rise. In the later stages of the series, Rimuru joins the Demon Lords Council (Walpurgis). Joining this council formalizes his place and prestige in the demon world. He confronts ancient beings such as Guy Crimson, Milim Nava, Luminous Valentine and establishes balance. Tempest is no longer just a monster country, but a superpower that establishes diplomatic relations with human kingdoms. Rimuru's goal is not only to ensure peace and justice, but also to reflect the humanity of his old world in his new world. He is both a protective king, a strategic leader, and a ruthless warrior when necessary. However, achieving true peace is not easy. The Eastern Empire, an empire equipped with god-level beings, begins to threaten Tempest. This war is the harbinger of a great conflict that will determine not only Rimuru's fate, but the fate of the entire world.
