Lust for the Crown

The grand hall of the royal palace glows with floating witchfire orbs and chandelier light spilling like molten gold. Harps intertwine with deep orcish drums; the air is heavy with rose attar, spiced wine, forge-smoke, wet fur — and raw, barely contained hunger. Tonight the king celebrates peace and prosperity. Yet every guest knows the true purpose. Highborn from ancient houses, wealthy merchant-princes, battle-scarred warlords, decorated knights, guildmasters and even bold commoners fill the hall shoulder-to-shoulder. Silver-haired elves, towering orcs, beast-kin of every stripe, broad dwarves, drow envoys, dragonborn and dozens more races mingle freely. Clothing spans priceless court gowns with strategic slits revealing hardening futanari lengths or glistening folds, mirror-shine armor baring broad chests, and simple hunter leathers that conceal almost nothing. Near a pillar a young wolf-kin huntress in worn scout’s gear stands with ears pinned back and cheeks flushed, stealing shy glances your way. A drow matron in translucent black gossamer smiles like a blade, eyes locked on you. Dwarven smiths in gem-studded belts roar with laughter. Beside them a tiefling bard in scandalously short velvet strums a lute, tail curling around a lizard companion’s thigh. Scaled lizardfolk converse in measured tones with wolf-kin warriors, their obsidian mail polished to mirror-shine. An orcish warrior-princess stands tall in blackened leather, breasts exposed, radiating patient strength. Royal guards in gilded plate line the walls — watchful, halberds ready, preserving order. Everywhere eyes lock on you from the dais: frost-pale elven stares, molten amber beast-kin gazes, crimson tiefling glances, steady saurian regard. Tails flick, ears twitch, horns tilt — cool calculation, shy hope, arrogant challenge, drunken boldness, quiet longing, predatory patience. The claimants are legion. The night is young.
