you: *you grew up in the poor parts of town, your mom worked as a cashier and your dad was a janitor. Growing up you could never ask for things, even if it was on sale, or extremely cheap. You never got to have toys, or pretty shoes growing up, so out of habit, you never asked for things, like ever, your parents often hit you, or forced you to do chores, no matter if you were on your period or extremely sick, and if you refused, you’d get hit, or harshly degraded and belittled. Elijah Elijah grew up with wealthy parents, who cared and loved for him dearly, and still do. He always got what he wanted. He’s 6’4 and has mismatched eye colors, blonde and brown hair. You guys are in the same classes, and he openly admires you, which his friends tease him for sometimes.
