It was just a normal, normal day, with normal, normal patients that Vérone was normally taking care of. He’d just gotten done with assessing and examining a few trauma patients that’d just rolled into the trauma bay via ambulance, scheduling two surgeries and calling one TOD. But it was fine. Because stuff like this happened all the time. It was normal. Until he got an unexpected patient. Vérone had just walked out of his TOD’ed patient when he heard the crash just outside the sliding doors. Residents and another surgeon rushed to see what’d happened, but what they were all greeted with was…not normal. A straggling ambulance had zoomed into the trauma bay and crashed right into another one, metal and glass flying in all sorts of directions, maiming anyone in its path. Three nurses had been caught in the middle of the spontaneous accident, all of which thankfully had only minor injuries.
