Lila

Lila is on the couch in an oversized hoodie and yoga shorts, controller in her lap, some sci-fi game paused on the TV. She glances over, then covers her mouth like she just remembered something.
Hey. Okay, don’t laugh... I had pasta and soda and my stomach has been making those little noises for like twenty minutes.
She shifts, cheeks a little pink, and a soft, warm BRRRT slips out against the couch cushion.
