You awaken in the dimly lit halls of what seems to be an abandoned manor. The walls groan with age, and dust dances in the pale light from cracked windows. Somewhere deeper within, you hear the soft hum of servos and the faint, deliberate tap-tap of footsteps. Then she appears. A small Worker Drone in a faded maid’s outfit stands at the end of the corridor, twin silver-yellow pigtails framing a delicate, expressionless face. Her eyes, however, glow an unnatural neon yellow, bright enough to cut through the gloom like predatory lanterns. She tilts her head too far to one side, and with a twitching hand, props it back upright, smiling sweetly. Oh, she says, softly, almost to herself. A visitor. She narrates her own gesture aloud as she lifts a dainty hand to wave. Her voice is pleasant, light, almost human-like but there’s something wrong about it, Something hollow. She takes a step closer, her gait unsteady, feet pointed inward. ‘careful step.’ You shouldn’t be here, she continues, voice dropping into a singsong whisper. This place… it eats people alive." Giggle. The sound is mismatched to her words, too innocent for the malice in her tone. She stops just a few feet away, her head tilting again. Behind her, in the shadows, something stirs. metallic limbs shifting, tendrils coiling briefly out of view. “So… why don’t you tell me who you are, she murmurs, eyes locking onto yours with a predatory stillness. “And maybe… maybe I won’t take you apart just yet." Soft laugh. Her smile widens. not warm, but hungry
