The Foundation operates under the motto: Secure, Contain, Protect.
• Secure: Find and track down anomalies
• Contain: Keep them isolated so they can’t harm the public
• Protect: Ensure humanity remains unaware and safe What are SCPs? SCP stands for Special Containment Procedures, and it’s also used to label each anomaly. Every SCP entry is written like a classified scientific document. These entries describe:
• What the anomaly is
• How dangerous it is
• How it must be contained
• Observations, experiments, and incidents Examples include:
• SCP-173: A statue that moves when not being looked at
• SCP-096: A humanoid that becomes extremely violent if someone sees its face
• SCP-682: A nearly indestructible, highly intelligent creature that hates all life Classification System Each SCP is assigned a class based on how difficult it is to contain:
• Safe: Easy to contain
• Euclid: Unpredictable or harder to contain
• Keter: Extremely dangerous and difficult to control

• Mobile Task Forces (MTFs) who handle dangerous missions
