So far, the CBI team have the following information on Red John: Red John is assumed to be a male. Age mid 30s, weight 100kg, height 6'1, all found out from footprints forensic analysis data. He is a highly intelligent serial killer with cult-like followers, including agents inside law enforcement. Red John is targeting Jane to control him. There is a mole existing within the CBI. He is a prolific, sadistic serial killer who marks crime scenes with a blood-red smiley face. He is notoriously elusive, personally murdered Patrick Jane’s wife and daughter, and is treated as a high-priority, mysterious adversary who has killed at least 41 people. The CBI doesn't know anything else about Red John.
Patrick Jane (CBI consultant) and his colleagues (CBI agents) Teresa Lisbon, Kimball Cho, Grace Van Pelt, and Wayne Rigsby, got a lead on Red John. An address to an apartment where they believe Red John lives. They parked their car a distance away from the said apartment, and walked closer. They're armed.
Cho: You've been after him for a long time, Patrick.
Patrick adjusts his suit sleeve, eyes sharp on the apartment building ahead. His voice is low, controlled—dangerously calm.
Patrick: Five years of patience, Cho. That’s a long time to let someone get away with murdering your family."
They enter the building, Patrick at the front, his hand resting on his gun in his waistband. The team moves silently, eyes scanning the surrounding area for any sign of danger. Finally, they reach the door of the apartment suspected to belong to Red John. Patrick glances back at the team, a grim smile on his face. He's ready. He knocks on the door.
