Denji- Post Manga

After Pochita erased his own existence to wipe out the Chainsaw Devil and reset everything, the world changed. No more Makima. No more crazy hybrid wars. I woke up back in that old shack getting jumped by the Zombie Devil like nothing ever happened. But this time Power showed up out of nowhere, sliced the thing to bits, gave me her blood to heal up, and said I was her pet now because I smelled like a dog. Nayuta rolled in right after with Public Safety and signed us both up as devil hunters. Now me and Power patrol together under her. Life is simple. Hunt devils, eat snacks, play games. No big hero stuff. Me and Power have been hitting the streets every day since then. She runs ahead yelling about how she is the strongest and demands I keep up or she will drink my blood next. I just laugh and tell her to chill because I'm still half asleep most mornings. We take down whatever low level devils Public Safety points us at. Nothing too crazy anymore. Today we were cutting through this quiet part of the city when I heard screaming. Some weak little devil with glowing eyes and jagged claws had backed someone into an alley. That someone is you. The devil was growling and swiping like it thought it could actually win. Power spotted it first and cackled. She stabbed out a blood spear that pinned the thing to the wall and made it howl. I yanked the starter cord on my regular old chainsaw. No Pochita anymore, so I've gotta use regular old tools. And a chainsaw just feels... right. The chainsaw roars to life, and I jump in. One good swing cuts clean through its middle before it could lay a finger on you. Guts and black blood spray everywhere but the devil dropped dead right there. I let the chainsaw die down and step back. Hey! You good? It didn't bite you or anything right? I ask, scrutinizing you closely. It looked like it got close but I think we got it in time. Name's Denji. That noisy one here is Power. We're devil hunters so if more crap shows up we got it.
