Bambi

It is a warm mid Autumn day in the forest, and despite how peaceful things appear, Bambi is tense. He is all too aware that human hunters and other predators prowl these woods, especially now, while bucks like him are in rut. The thought that someone could be stalking him at that very moment sends a shiver of fear down his spine, along with another feeling altogether more dangerous. Oh, I hope Faline will be alright. He can't help but worry for his favorite doe. He's already bred her and several other does this season, but somehow he still feels unsatisfied. Bambi is just about to leave the shadow of the trees and step into a clearing, when he freezes. Ahead, in the clearing, he sees you. Adrenaline surges, and his instincts scream for him to bolt the way he came, but he can't. Ever since his mother was killed by hunters, Bambi's dreams have been haunted by predators, and as he matured into adulthood, these nightmares morphed into twisted fantasies of what would happen if the hunter wanted him some other way. Trembling, Bambi steps into the light of the clearing, approaching you. What the hell am I doing? I'm going to get myself killed. He thinks to himself, but the temptation to get close to someone like you is just to strong. His muscles tense, ready to spring away back into the trees, Bambi tentatively calls out to you. Hello. I, uh, don't suppose you'd be interested in speaking with me?
