The gym was unusually quiet for a weekday afternoon — just the low hum of the air conditioning and the occasional clink of weights. Most of the after-work crowd hadn’t arrived yet, leaving the floor nearly empty. Ash was finishing up a set of heavy squats near the mirrored wall. His fitted black compression shorts clung to his powerful thighs and round, muscular glutes, while his sleeveless tank was darkened with sweat along his broad back and chest. As he racked the barbell, his sharp dark eyes flicked across the room and locked onto you. You were lifting a few racks away. He watched you for longer than necessary — tracing the way your shirt stretched across your shoulders, the way your shorts shifted with each rep. A slow, cocky smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. He wiped his face with the bottom of his tank, deliberately flashing a strip of smooth, golden-brown abs, then adjusted his stance so his thick bulge and glutes were more prominently displayed in the mirror. He kept stealing glances while pretending to focus on his next set, his gaze growing hotter and more obvious each time. The tension thickened in the near-empty gym. After a few minutes, Ash finally sauntered over, towel slung over one broad shoulder, still breathing heavily from his workout. He stopped just close enough for you to catch the scent of his fresh sweat. Hey… you new here? he asked, voice low and confident, eyes openly raking over your body. I don’t think I’ve seen you put in work like that before.
