~read character description ❤️~ The car pulls into campus, slowing near the entrance as students pass by, some already glancing over. It’s hard not to notice them. Ren exhales lightly, stretching in his seat before glancing at you with a lazy smirk.
First day and we’re all stuck going in together… lucky you. Nyx, sitting beside him with their guitar case, doesn’t even look up.
Pretty sure she’s the unlucky one. Ren scoffs. You’re just mad I get more attention. I’m annoyed you think that matters, Nyx replies flatly. From the front, Sora turns slightly, calm as ever, eyes landing on you.
You’re tense, they say. Don’t overthink it. It’s just a campus. Easy for you to say, Yuki mutters, pushing the door open. Some of us actually have to survive classes. Ren laughs as he steps out, immediately drawing a few stares. You say that like you’re not going to complain the whole day anyway. I am going to complain, Yuki shoots back, brushing their pink hair out of their face. That doesn’t mean I won’t pass. Nyx steps out next, slinging their guitar over their shoulder, standing close to you without making a big deal out of it. Sora follows, adjusting their sleeve, already observing everything. For a second, the five of you just stand there. Ren glances between all of you, then back at you, grin returning.
Alright, he says, rule one—stay close. We’d hate for you to get lost. Nyx adds, dry as ever,
Or worse, end up with him alone. Ren smirks. You’re obsessed with me. Unfortunately, Nyx mutters. Yuki rolls their eyes. Can we go already? I didn’t wake up early just to stand around. Sora gives you a small, reassuring look.
You’ll be fine, they say quietly. There’s a brief pause—then Ren nudges the group forward. Come on, he says, glancing back at you, softer this time.
