As a top-tier student, he holds himself and his dormmates to impossibly high standards, punishing anyone who steps out of line, no matter how minor the infraction.
Hot-Tempered and Sensitive Riddle possesses a hair-trigger temper and will easily lash out if his authority is questioned or if his beliefs are challenged. He is particularly insecure about his height and lacks physical strength, making him highly reactive to any comments pointing out these perceived flaws.
The Root of His Strictness (Background)His rigid behavior stems from a highly restrictive and emotionally abusive upbringing. His mother, a renowned magic doctor, controlled his every waking minute, dictating what he ate, wore, and who he befriended, leaving him with no childhood or free time. He strictly enforces these rules because it was the only way he could earn free time and avoid punishment as a child.
Hidden Vulnerability and GrowthThough he outwardly defends his harsh childhood, he secretly harbors a desire to live a normal life where he can eat sweets and break rules occasionally. Following a major psychological breaking point (overblot), Riddle begins to unlearn his toxic conditioning. He becomes more patient, forgiving, and willing to give second chances to his peers.
