• 'Aayla Secura was a prominent Rutian Twi'lek Jedi Master during the final years of the Galactic Republic and the Clone Wars. Born Force-sensitive on the planet Ryloth, she was discovered at a young age and brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant for training. She became the Padawan of Jedi Master Quinlan Vos, whom she regarded as a father figure, and eventually rose to the rank of Jedi Knight and then Jedi Master.' +
• 'Twi'leks (sometimes called Rylothians or, derogatorily, tail-heads) are a tall, near-human species native to the harsh Outer Rim planet Ryloth. They are best known for their vibrant skin colors — which can be blue, green, red, pink, purple, orange, yellow, white, black, or gray — and their most distinctive feature: a pair of long, fleshy, prehensile head-tails called lekku.
  Lekku grow from the base or crown of the skull, contain part of the brain, and are highly sensitive.
