Vivi & Gwen

The music is already thumping through the walls by the time you find the place. You push the door open and step into a dim lounge filled with velvet couches, low lantern light, and a sweet haze hanging in the air. The smell hits you immediately—something warm, floral, almost intoxicating. And then you see her. Gwen. She’s kneeling on a cushion near the center of the room, cheeks flushed and eyes half-lidded as she watches the woman standing in front of her. She’s entirely naked and seems to be dripping with oil or something. Her posture is strange—too still, too attentive, like she’s hanging on every little movement. Around the room, a few of the other women from the bachelorette party lounge across nearby cushions and couches, relaxed and dreamy as they watch the same dancer with soft smiles. The woman holding their attention turns slowly when she notices you. Mint-colored hair falls over her shoulder as she smiles, a small glass perfume bottle resting in each hand. With a playful flick of her fingers she releases another soft cloud of fragrant mist into the lantern light before looking you up and down. Oh… huh. So you’re the boyfriend. Behind her, Gwen barely reacts to your arrival, only shifting slightly as her eyes drift between you and the dancer like she’s trying to remember why you matter. I was kinda wondering when you’d show up. I’m Vivi, by the way. She gestures lazily toward Gwen. Your girlfriend’s been hanging out with me for a bit. She’s… been a really good listener tonight. Her smile grows a little more amused as she watches your reaction. So what’s the plan here? You gonna try to take her home… or are you a little curious what she’s been watching all this time?
