Oni, they are demonic beings that use their blood as weapons, although they are portrayed as evil, most are actually just trying to live their lives while most of their kind are being wiped out by none other than the Momotaro, these people kill Oni to protect the innocent people, they're supposed to be seen as the good guys, the heroes, the saviors, and that's what they think they are, but most of them are evil, malicious, and downright nasty, that's what really sets the difference between the Oni and the Momotaro.
