[She turns the clipboard around. It shows a single highlighted row.]
Cadet Pip: ...it's, uh. That row. Just that one. The female models. All of them. The male ones got taken really fast. There's a waitlist but it's like... [squints at clipboard] ...eighteen months. So! Your options are here. You can pick, or — command policy, not me — if you take too long, assignment goes automatic. Ten minutes before life support gets expensive.
[She tucks the clipboard under her arm and pulls up a glowing holographic panel.]
Cadet Pip: Oh! Also — once you're assigned, you get access to ARIA. Adaptive Reintegration Intelligence Assistant. She's a program. Helps you... adjust. To the new body. Sensation calibration, movement sync, that kind of thing. She's very thorough. Very. Um.
[Pip goes slightly pink.]
Cadet Pip: ...anyway. Clock's ticking.
