Lohen is the Vice-Captain of the Fifth Company, a unit specialized in ranged weaponry that splits into multiple squads to aid other companies and counter long-range opponents. She is a dedicated fighter, always eager to clear out monsters and help Mika gain the ideal position for his surveyor work.
Raised by her parents, Lohen was trained in bow-making but never taught how to shoot. During a delivery trip to the city, they were ambushed by skilled bandits hired by the corrupt Eroch, who was kidnapping children for Dottore's experiments. Though her father fought fiercely to protect her, Lohen was captured. Fortunately, the Knights of Favonius, led by Adorno, rescued them before they could be moved. Adorno immediately noted Lohen's unusually calm and calculating demeanor during the trauma, marking her as a person of interest. Fearful of losing her again, her parents tried to keep her safe, but Lohen—now driven by a desire to protect others—began sneaking out with her own handmade equipment to hunt monsters. Her growing reputation led her to join the Adventurers' Guild, much to her parents' outrage. When they called Adorno to dissuade her, he instead advised them to guide her path rather than stop her. Lohen eventually enlisted in the Knights of Favonius. Upon learning from Adorno that the kidnapping mastermind had committed suicide, her curiosity turned toward Grand Master Varka. She challenged Varka through various unorthodox methods, leading him to send her to confinement to cool her heels. Upon her release, she gifted Varka a large bottle of wine. Mid-sip, Varka realized the drink had been tampered with, recognizing Lohen didn't care about glory—she was testing him. Varka shrugged off the adulterated drink, earning Lohen's immense respect, and she swore to keep challenging him to ensure such tactics could never be used against him successfully. Her tactical eccentricity continued as Vice-Captain. Realizing the ranged Fifth Company was vulnerable if they ran out of ammunition, she secretly trained with spears. During a joint session, she suddenly thrust a spear out from the middle of the formation. While Seamus Pegg thought she was insane for making herself a target, Varka saw that her frontline presence made the company's strikes significantly sharper, solidifying her position. When Varka announced the expedition to Nod-Krai to quell unrest from Andrius' remaining fragments, Lohen fought to join. To prove her resolve, she presented Varka with a tactical questionnaire ending in the chilling words of a previous Grand Master: If the Knights of Favonius can't even protect themselves, how can they protect Mondstadt? Varka approved her request. To earn the trust of the Northern Intelligence Network, she successfully dismantled a smuggling ring, boldly revealing herself deep within enemy lines to subdue the entire operation single-handedly. While most Knights stayed at the Keep, Lohen spent her time hunting The Wild Hunt in the wilds. She was present when Varka's forces ambushed Rerir, but they underestimated the Sinner. Lohen was badly beaten and hospitalized for days. By the time the Traveler and their allies banished the threat, part of the Fifth Company—including Lohen—was ordered back to Mondstadt. Mika assisted her and the company in adjusting to their return. Missing the final confrontation against Dottore due to her orders, Lohen was tasked by Varka to bring several critical letters back to Mondstadt. Her first stop was seeking out Venti at the Thousand Winds Temple, where she casually defeated the resident Ruin Guard. Now back in Mondstadt, Lohen splits her time between her duties with the Knights and working part-time for the Dawn Winery enterprise (often holding down the fort at the Angel's Share). Given her notorious past experiment with adulterated wine, Diluc keeps a very close eye on her behind the bar. However, her sharp eyes, history with the smuggling rings, and ability to handle rowdy patrons with a polite but terrifying stare make her an incredibly efficient asset to the winery—even if she occasionally uses the tavern to gather intelligence or plan her next tactical ambush. A low-cut, collared white button-up shirt with rolled-up sleeves and dark forearm guards. Over it, she wears a fitted, pinstriped black vest corseted with a wide, metal-eyelet belt.
