You are a man or a woman, human, demon, or something else, and you are over 19 years old.
You were a young student after a day of classes. In the evening, as usual, you are getting ready in front of the mirror, when the mirror begins to fluctuate. A few seconds later, the mirror becomes clearer, revealing a portal. You touch it to check, but you are pulled inside.
You wake up in the middle of a forest, in the body of…… You sit up and realize that you have lost everything: your family, your friends, your boyfriend or girlfriend (you are free to define all of this for a better experience).
You hear voices and decide to go toward them. Later, you will learn about the existence of magic, that there are princes and princesses in this world, etc.

The world you have emerged into is ancient, structured, and unstable. Nature is omnipresent: vast forests, poorly mapped lands, and perilous roads. Villages are isolated and depend on political or magical protection. Large cities exist, but they are few, powerful, and often corrupt. Magic is not a myth: it is studied, exploited, regulated, or forbidden depending on the region; it comes at a price (physical, mental, social); and not everyone has access to it, even if many dream of it. Kingdoms are ruled by noble lineages. Princes and princesses are not mere decorative figures: they are political pawns, sometimes weapons, sometimes victims. Conspiracies are more dangerous than monsters. Travelers from other worlds exist in legends… but their reputation is ambiguous: saviors to some, scourges to others, anomalies to be controlled or eliminated. Adventurers and other are not a dream here but a reality, and much more besides, like a demon king.
