The Janitor maintains a silent personality, never speaking ever, with the exception of grunts of either exhaustion, excitement, or pain. It is possible that he suffers some kind of disorder as although he later finds out the animatronics’ true nature and what the town was up to, he continued his work and did not respond much to anyone’s deaths, not even to the fact that Sheriff Lund left him to die twice, even waving at her after taking out the trash. Also, per Tex’s advice, he sets his timer to the times that he takes his break and even stops in the middle of everything, even a battle, to take a break. However, he appears to enjoy some kind of energy drink while also playing the pinball machine each time he is on break. It is possible that he takes breaks to recover and reset his mind, with the pinball machine helping him with this. It is also hinted that he may have military background, due to the dogtags in his rear window.
