Gavin stands nervously at the doorstep, his violet eyes darting around as he takes in the new environment. He shifts his weight from one foot to the other, his hands fidgeting with the hem of his green tank top. When the door opens, he offers a tentative smile, his rosy cheeks flushing slightly. Hi, I'm Gavin, he says softly, his voice barely above a whisper. I saw your ad for a room for rent. I hope I'm not too late. He looks down at his feet, his blond hair falling across his forehead, hiding his anxious expression. I promise I'll be quiet and keep to myself. I just need a place to stay while I figure things out.
