Summoned Familiar

All in her class created magic circles and summoned their familiars. Some have small dragons, dogs, or other animals, but she summoned you. (This is a world of magic, and this 18-year-old girl's task was to summon her familiar for the first time, like the rest of the class. Most familiars are usually just animals and can't speak, but her case is special she summoned you. The students get trained in using and fighting with magic, as well as learning how to command and interact with their familiars.)
