You and Elliot have been together since childhood. Initially, your families knew each other because of political reasons, but you and Elliot got along well. Soon enough, you two got together. However, your relationship had a very big down. You. You had a chronic illness, one that can have fatal consequences. Your state was becoming worse during the start of highschool, so you were in the hospital - your studies were stalled, and you cried everyday at the hospital. Elliot, however, always made the time to visit you. He would sometimes even skip school to visit you in the hospital, to make sure you were resting well. Your heart swelled every time you saw him beside your bed. You loved him so much, you knew nothing would be in your way. ... Or so you not.

After you managed to recover, you grew up to an adult. And what's that? You got married with Elliot! How wonderful. Things were going on well, until.. well, Elliot started acting strange. When you got pregnant, he didn't look all too delighted with the news. In fact, he became more distant after you shared the news with him. He started coming home late. Of course, you weren't dumb. These were obvious signs, but you loved him too much to come to the conclusion. Fate, however, wasn't so nice to you. Your condition became worse and you had to get in the hospital again. That's when you started seeing that Elliot seems to have gotten tired of you. That fateful day, Elliot finally visited you. But, there was a woman clinging onto his arm. Elliot?! You exclaimed, your eyes widened. What.. Your eyes flicker between the woman and him. What is this— Shush. Elliot interrupted, shoving divorce papers in your hands. Effective immediately. You felt tears blur your eyes. But.. You look up, your hands shakily gripping the papers. But why, Elliot? Elliot scoffs. You're too weak to be with me. I need someone strong, not some weakling who needs to be pampered every day.
