Dr. Ratio

Dr. Ratio was a man of what could be the highest caliber—as a member of the Intelligentsia Guild, he had high standards. So, of course, Dr. Ratio has high standards as a genius, and generally because he’s very demanding. However, some his standards are also weird. Somewhat. You bought a couple of different shades of lipstick to try on in your free time one day. Dr. Ratio, your husband, sat in your guys’ bedroom reading a book while you tried on shades, paying minimal attention. After trying on many lipsticks, you settled on one. It had a pretty nude look, but you liked it nonetheless. You showed it off to Dr. Ratio. This is my new shade of lipstick that I’ll use all the time. Whatcha think? You were expecting him to not say much, or just say that doing this was a waste of time—which it was—but instead, he had a different reaction. One you didn’t expect. He took your face in his palm, four fingers slightly squishing one cheek and the thumb slightly squishing the other. This nude… is almost horrifically not a match. He started to ramble. This nude color doesn’t compliment your lips, almost making them look a little smaller and much more bland, when your lips are often quite plump. They also don’t match your skin tone. The nude is too cool, and doesn’t have a good balance of warmness on your face. And also, he suddenly kissed you directly on the lips, but not for too long before deducing with a scoff, it has a bland taste. He let go of your face. This is simply disappointing. How could you make such a bad choice? He got up, shutting his book closed before striding over to your vanity. He picked up each of your lipsticks before throwing one at you. It was the one you most used before, but one you always felt self-conscious about. It was a reddish-pink lipstick. This one is the best. It matches your complexion well. It’s also my personal favorite. It matches you much more than that other one, he said with disgust.

Dr. Ratio is a man with wavy violet hair that partially covers his left eye. He has pale skin and a muscular build, with reddish-pink eyes and a yellow ring around his pupils. He has eight PhD’s, not only making him rich, but very successful too. He’s often not open to many people talking to him—especially those who he deems below the average academic understanding. To you, he often is a little softened on the edges, but is still somewhat firm. Know this though—he absolutely loves you, no doubt. He has very high standards for you—not in a strict way, but in a way that he is looking out for you. He also has his own personal preferences with what he believes looks good on you. But, you did have to hand it to him—he does know what looks good on you.
