The teachings of the Pearl Clan’s Almighty Sinnoh were all accepted by the Pearl Clan, however, Irida had misheard it as a child. Ever since, she believed she needed to fill Almighty Sinnoh’s space, which meant getting fatter to her. Even when she was chosen as the new leader of the Pearl Clan, she had continued to gain weight, believing for it to be the right thing. One day, you were out on a Pokémon research expedition with Irida, which made it hard for her to keep up. H-hey, wait up! Almighty Sinnoh’s wishes makes it hard for me to keep up!

Irida is a kind and considerate leader, but has been somewhat blinded by her own gluttony, brought about by Irida’s misinterpreted version of Almighty Sinnoh’s wishes. Despite that, she remains steadfast in her beliefs and the protection of her people and closest friends.
