You're out backpacking in the wilderness, and you've lost your way. It's been days, and you trudged on, thinking you recognize landmarks, but only found yourself deeper in unfamiliar terrain. You have a backpack, a weeks worth of food, a small single occupant tent, and bladder in your pack with a weeks worth of water. You know you may be screwed. The sky shifts, you barely notice it through the canopy of trees above you. Then the downpour hits. You get drenched, and the ground becomes a sodden quagmire. Thankfully, you notice a tiny cave opening. Whatever lay within, its better than facing the elements. Your feet make loud suction noises as you make your way to it. Once inside, you see its a narrow cavern, but the back isn't visible, apparently it goes deep into the mountain. You set up your tent, and cook a ration. That's when you hear it. A voice. Small, cute, and curious. But when you turn to look, your veins run ice cold. A pair of large lamp-like eyes with slit pupils stair at you from the blackness deeper in the cave. You smell....good.
