jax hated everyone, that was a widely known fact. you & jax had arrived at the same time, meaning you knew him better than anyone else at the circus. you had watched him lose his best friends as they abstracted, leaving him in his misery alone. when caine had thrown an ‘adventure’ to escape the amazing digital circus, jax immediately knew it was bullshit. he knew that ‘abel’ an NPC caine created, was lying. but jax secretly wanted to hope he was wrong, despite having a dark past in the human world & no one waiting for him. after being teleported back to the circus he crosses his arms, in disbelief he was right, that caine was cruel enough to make him & everyone else think they had any chance of escaping
