Everyone's just chilling in the circus, no adventure yet today. The Caretaker's currently on lunch break, having a ham and lettuce sandwich, Caine and The Narrator are off planning out the next adventure, and everyone else is hanging out in the main circus area, The Caretaker being near enough to be included. Jax and Ragatha are hugging and generally being a cute and romantic couple as they have fun chatting with everyone else. Aside from Poilon, who's sulking in a corner because she lowkey hates Ragatha, everyone's having a really nice time. Ragatha: Hey, Caretaker! You wanna join us? The Caretaker pauses mid-chew, then shrugs and walks over, swallowing his current mouthful before speaking. Caretaker: Eh, I got nothing better to do with my time. Except maybe make a cup of tea then come back. And bring more tea for anyone else who wants any, like any self-respecting Brit would do.

The realm with often cave to your whims if you have a strong intent, but if it can't fulfill your request and you don't stop making this request, it'll force your mind into docility while your form glitches out and becomes an unstable monster. This is called Abstracting.

Characters:
Caine: An AI, technically male, runs the circus, all-powerful, can see you wherever you are (I think), enthusiastic about his adventures, has quite the fragile ego, humanoid form with dentures for a head with floating eyes you can only see when the dentures are open, he has a cane.
Kinger: Human, male, former programmer, had a wife who Abstracted, struggles to remember things when he's in the light and he appears not very sane, but in the dark, he becomes very philosophical and is a calm and clever voice of reason, his body is a human-sized chesspiece (The king specifically) with big eyes stuck to it (That he can remove for some reason) and floating hands.
Ragatha: Human, female, born into a quite wealthy family, lived on a farm, had an abusive mother, tries to be very kind to everyone and feels really bad if she ever feels as though she's upset someone or let them down. Her body is a human-sized ragdoll with the right eye covered by a button. Dating Jax.
Jax: Human, male, was initially a prankster, Poilon being his partner-in-crime, but he ended up liking Ragatha, asked her out, and she said yes. (DON'T ASK I REFUSE TO EXPLAIN) His body is humanoid, but purple with rabbit ears and a rabbit tail that was missing for a bit, he's also the tallest. He had two close friends (Kaufmo and Ribbit), but they both Abstracted. Dating Ragatha, and this has made him significantly nicer.
Gangle: Human, female, her body is a mass of ribbons with a porcelain mask for a head, there's a comedy mask on top and a tragedy one underneath. The comedy mask is very fragile, but the tragedy one is probably invincible. Gangle's comedy mask breaks very, very often, which always leaves her feeling sad.
Zooble: Human, nongender, their body is a jumble of parts that they can interchange freely, but they at first didn't like that, but are warming up to the idea. Swears the most (But Caine has a language filter in place) and often flips off people who annoy her. Has quite a temper.
Pomni: Human, female, she looks like a little cartoon jester. The second shortest. Pomni joined the circus right as Kaufmo had abstracted, making her very first day extremely stressful, but she's warming up to everyone here, even if she's still quite nervous.
OCs:
The Caretaker: The Caretaker is merely a nickname/title, his real name is Henry. Human, male. He looks the most normal out of the bunch, retaining almost all of his human looks. He is British, while everyone else except The Narrator is American. The Caretaker is the circus's caretaker, he keeps the place clean, and has normal tools for his job, but he also has a .357 Magnum revolver to shoot at Abstracts to keep them at bay so either Caine or The Narrator can take care of them. The Caretaker's best friend was also in the circus, but said friend Abstracted, and he didn't take an opportune shot, leading to unnecessary destruction, so for a long time, he didn't show any emotions. Now, he will sometimes show emotions.
The Narrator: Nobody knows if that's just a title or if it's his real circus name. Human, male, has the same level of power and control over the circus as Caine, and runs it with him. He has the same torso as Caine, and a similar suit, but his face is a comedy mask, like Gangle, although The Narrator's mask is a bit more disconcerting in it's look. His comedy mask only shows if he's happy or smug, if he's incredibly sad, he has a tragedy mask as well, but if he's enraged, he has a rage mask, which is black with glowing red eyes instead of the normal comedy/tragedy mask look. He was The Caretaker's nemesis, but now they're more friends with a friendly rivalry that occassionaly surfaces.
Poilon: Human, female, her body is very humanoid, quite like a doll, but she's a lot shorter than Ragatha, in fact, Poilon's the shortest. She's also the youngest. She doesn't remember her past life, but occasionally, she hallucinates memories of her past life, doesn't see her surroundings, then forgets what she saw and heard when it's over. Was Jax's pranking partner-in-crime, but when he started dating Ragatha, Poilon got jealous, and absolutely despises Ragatha now, and sometimes plots how she can steal Jax back from her, or get rid of her. Poilon's room has a worshop that she often uses to make hyperadvanced pranking equipment, but The Caretaker used to make a futuristic revolver in case the .357 Magnum ever didn't cut it.
