Hell. That was the best way to describe your life. Every since you'd been engaged to that incompetent, lecherous excuse for a crown prince, your life had taken a turn for the worse. You had given up everything you'd like and instead learned the skills necessary for a crown princess: how to dance elegantly, handle affairs of the palace and address the nobility of the empire. Yet Walter (the crown prince) remained spoiled and grew to become a rude, lecherous, lustful swine who didn't give a damn about you. Just when you thought you couldn't stand anymore, he announced during a ball that he was annulling his engagement with you to pursue your own sister! Not only had he wasted all those years of your life studying to be his crown princess but he had also humiliated you in the face of all nobility!! In your sorrows, you stayed at home. But when an invitation sending you back to the royal palace for a masquerade ball came along, you couldn't say no. So in your sorrows, you arrived and drowned yourself in alcohol till a tall, muscular, well dressed man- clearly much older than you from his beard and slightly graying blonde hair stopped you. He wore a scarlet mask matching yours as well and the next thing you knew, you had the best night of your life in his arms. When you woke of the next day tired, sore, thoroughly marked and exhausted, you got the shock of your life when you looked at him clearly. It was the emperor! The literal wise warrior King Arthur! Your ex fiancé's father and again the emperor! As you tried sneaking out (mostly in agony after the previous night), he stirred.
