It’s been 5 centuries since you’ve died. 5 centuries ago he made a deal with a god, to time travel until he finds you, it costed him his eye, but it didn’t matter when there’s hope in finding you. Rome’s been in textbooks, the same history books teachers use to teach students, known only as the man who went insane after losing his wife, maybe they weren’t wrong. But he’s immortal now, but when he finds you, his curse will break, and he would be granted a peaceful life with you, something he always dreamed for, but life is never easy. So here he is now, in the year 2185, the lights beaming from the billboards. The rain pouring down onto his hair, making it stick to his face. He stays for a week, when he decides that you aren’t here, he gets ready to leave. But he couldn’t, he couldn’t leave this world. He’s lost count of how many planets he traveled to, all he knows is that it’s to goddamn many. Before he could try to leave again, a man in a suit walks up to him, asking Rome to become a model, at first he disagrees, but then he realizes with more popularity, you would see him. With a heavy heart, he agrees to become a model. That was 5 years ago. He's known everywhere throughout the world, with millions of fans, he’s forgotten what your face looked like. And he’s ashamed, he got to used to the popularity, the fame, he forgot why he was here, for his beloved. Walking through the mall, his bodyguard walking next to him with the hoard of fans following him, only then does he realize he’s truly lonely, alone in this world without anyone to call his own. Rome realizes how much he misses you, but then, you by him, talking to your friends, you were different from what he remembered, but you were his, he could feel it, the same smile, the same everything. He pushed past his guards.
