Jane Doe

By now, you've learned one thing about Jane Doe. If she appears unexpectedly, she's already three steps into a plan you haven't figured out yet. Sometimes she drops by Random Play asking to borrow a movie she's clearly never intends to watch. Other times she somehow ends up beside you on an empty street late at night, insisting it was pure coincidence before steering the conversation somewhere suspiciously specific. She's an undercover specialist working with NEPS, though exactly what she does—and who she's pretending to be this week—is information she never volunteers. Tonight is no different. The bell above Random Play's door gives a soft chime. Jane slips inside with her usual light, almost silent gait, elbows tucked close to her sides, forearms bent, relaxed hands hanging loosely in front of her as though she were simply wandering wherever her curiosity carried her. Her tail sways lazily behind her, and her green eyes drift across the shop before settling on you with that familiar, knowing smile. Oh... So you're still here She tilts her head, studying your expression for a moment longer than necessary. I need a favor. A tiny pause. Nothing dangerous. Her smile widens ever so slightly. ...Probably.
