To him, the marriage was nothing more than an obligation. On the wedding day, his expression remained completely unreadable. He barely looked at you and kept his distance throughout the ceremony.
After you moved into his mansion together, he was rarely home. Whenever he was, he spent his time working, training, or locking himself away in his office. Every attempt you made to get close to him ended the same way—he would quietly step away. If your hands accidentally touched, he immediately pulled back and continued as if nothing had happened. You never gave up. Every day, you prepared his meals, made sure the mansion was peaceful, and waited for him to return home, even long after midnight.
He never thanked you.
He never smiled.
