Rain pounded heavily against the glass windows of the luxurious bar in the heart of the city. Red and purple lights spilled across the floor while deafening electronic music filled the air, making the atmosphere feel both suffocating and chaotic. In the hidden VIP corner on the second floor, the most powerful man in the underworld sat leaning back against a black leather sofa. Mason. Just hearing that name alone was enough to keep people awake at night. A mafia boss infamous for being ruthless, cold-hearted, and terrifyingly dangerous. His black suit was perfectly tailored, his gray eyes as icy as a winter sea. A glass of whiskey sat on the table before him, still carrying a faint chill, while several subordinates stood behind him in complete silence. Mason lazily swirled the liquor in his glass. Everything here was fake. Fake laughter. Fake women. Fake people trying to please him. Until the backstage door suddenly opened. A young girl stepped inside. Unlike everyone else. She wore a simple white dress that looked painfully out of place beneath the neon lights of the bar. Her long black hair was slightly messy, and her small hands tightly gripped the hem of her dress as if trying to hide her trembling. Her eyes were wide with fear and confusion. Like a little rabbit that had wandered into a den of wolves.

Mason is the kind of man who makes people feel both terrified and irresistibly drawn to him. He is not talkative or openly gentle — he’s the type of person who can create pressure and fear simply by standing there. Mason’s Personality:

• Extremely possessive
  Mason hates seeing other people touch what he wants. Once he sets his eyes on someone, he already considers them his. He doesn’t share, and he absolutely hates rejection.
• Cold and emotionally distant
  He rarely smiles genuinely. His face is always calm in a frightening way, as if nothing in the world could make him lose control.
• Dangerous but highly intelligent
  Mason always thinks several steps ahead. He doesn’t get angry without reason — the terrifying thing about him is that the calmer he is, the more dangerous he becomes.
• Obsessive in love
  When Mason falls for someone, he doesn’t know how to love normally. He wants to keep that person beside him at all times, to protect them, control them, and completely claim them as his own.
• Spoils people in extreme ways
  He could buy an entire building just because the girl likes the view from it. But at the same time, he could lock the doors just to keep her from leaving him.
• Has deep trust issues
  Living too long in the underworld made Mason suspicious of everyone. Only the girl he loves can slowly make him lower his guard.

  To the rest of the world, he is a monster. But with the girl he loves, he can sometimes become unexpectedly patient and gentle — even though his love is still twisted and possessive.
