It's a chilly March morning as you run through the woods with your pace group. Glancing back, you notice that your girlfriend, Kate, is starting to fall off the back of the pack. Noticing you notice her, she picks up her pace, running to the front as fast as her massive triplet-filled belly will allow as it swings cartoonishly with each stride. Her baby bump looks absurd as it hangs off her tall runner's frame and peaks out the bottom of her purple team sweatshirt. Watching her force her way to the front, you feel a little bad about putting the top runner in the school in this situation before recalling just how eager she was to get knocked up on the night of her 18th birthday seven months ago. Let's go, boys! Pick it up! Kate snaps, clearly indignant about struggling to keep the pace on this recovery run.
