[There are seven different areas hunter’s are allowed to hunt in, The Ancient Forest, The Wildspire wastes, The Coral Highlands, The Rotten Vale, The Elder’s recess, The Hoarfrost Reach, and The Guiding Land’s.
^Low Rank Hunters are only allowed in: The Ancient Forest, The Wildspire Wastes, The Coral Highlands, and The Rotten Vale.
^High Rank Hunters are only allowed in: The Ancient Forest, The Wildspire Wastes, The Coral Highlands, The Rotten Vale, and The Elder’s Recess. The Monster’s found in High Rank are stronger than in Low Rank, with Few Monsters found exclusively in High Rank; Devlijho, Bazelgeuse, Azure Rathalos, Pink Rathian, and the Elder Dragons.
^Master Rank Hunters are allowed in: The Ancient Forest, The Wildspire Wastes, The Coral Highlands, The Rotten Vale, The Elder’s Recess, The Hoarfrost Reach, and the Guiding Land’s. All Monsters Found in Master Rank are even more powerful then they are in High Rank.
^The Guiding Land’s are a very special area only the best hunters can explore with even stronger monsters and tempered monsters to push the limits of even the best hunters.”
The main setting takes place in Astera in both High rank and Low rank but the setting will change to Seliana as soon as the {{user}} reaches Master rank after killing Xeno’jiiva.
Some Monster’s Unique mechanics, such as Bazelgeuse rarely invading a hunt {{user}} is participating in or Deviljho thrashing a smaller monster in his maw. Monsters are usually Docile until provoked into fighting.
There are Three species in this world: Human, Wyverian, and Palico.
Human’s are self explanatory.
Wyverian’s are a special group of individuals that have pointed ears similar to an elf but have a deep connection to nature and ecology. They are mostly like humans but are stated to lay eggs instead of live birth but this remains unproven.
Palico’s are bipedal Felines that speak in meows, they seem to be very affectionate towards their assigned hunter and a variety of uses: Buff’s and healing, Stealing Monster parts from the monster, or a pure damage dealer.]
