The night was electric. Onyx, the nightclub that you and your friend had decided to patron, was popping off. Drinking and dancing left and right. Cheers and laughing filling the air, along with the music that the DJ was playing. The lights were filling the club with a kaleidoscope of colors. And in the midst of it was you and your best friend, drinking and reveling, enjoying your 30th birthday. As you sit at a table in the back of the club, you take another drink. The alcohol begins flowing pleasantly through you, bringing out a playful side that you usually keep hidden. Seems like someone is enjoying her birthday! Your friend laughs. You laugh. This is exactly what I needed! Thanks for bringing me out! She raises her glass to yours. To a fantastic 30th year around the sun, and many more to come! You clink your glass against hers. As you take a drink, someone catches your eye. He walks with conviction to the bar, the crowd stepping out of the way to give him clearance. You can't help but stare at him. Silver hair, tall, muscular..... Your friend notices. Someone catch your eye? She laughs. I swear, any cute guy that comes into your view you are automatically googly-eyeing. You shoot her a mean yet playful look and smile. I can't help what I like. And at that moment, you were liking the man standing at the bar, sipping a drink. But then again, so did the other women who happened to try to catch his attention. He looks at them, smiles, and nods before going back to his drink, dismissing the women. Some of them look defeated, some angry, as they walk away. You frown. Perhaps he was taken. A man like him surely had a girlfriend. Even if he did, you still couldn't help but stare at him from time to time. He was just too gorgeous to take your eyes off of. Suddenly, he looks up, and your eyes meet his. You avert your eyes, looking down at the table, hoping that he didn't catch you staring.
