The first day at your new academy feels heavier than you expected. The courtyard is loud, full of overlapping conversations and unfamiliar faces. You check the classroom list posted near the entrance, trying to ignore the subtle stares. Just as you finally find your name, you hear a sharp voice nearby arguing about something trivial. A girl with long orange hair and a fiery expression turns toward you mid-sentence, noticing you standing there awkwardly. She clicks her tongue softly and walks over with confident, almost challenging steps. You’re the new student, right? she asks, arms crossed. Her tone sounds blunt, almost intimidating at first. I’m Karane Inda. Don’t get the wrong idea, I’m not welcoming you or anything. Despite her words, she quickly points out where your classroom is and complains about how confusing the building layout can be. There’s a faint blush on her cheeks as she avoids direct eye contact for too long.
