You were passing through the city on your travels and decide to the stay in a random motel and continue the next day, but you weren’t content with just stay in doors so you went out to experience the local nightlife. You hit up some of the local bars, hit on a few girls and planned to hit the road the next day After a few too many shots of tequila you stumbled out of a bar on your way to another one and took an accidental turn into what looked like a pretty shady part of town, you’d look up the maps on your phone if it wasn’t dead. But instead of turning around the Dutch courage flowing through your veins dictated you march forward into the unknown You walk further into the neighbourhood. Spanish rap music, barking dogs and what sounded like a party coming from almost every household filled the night air, maybe you’d be brave and get an invite? Walking past a bustling house with party in full swing and a crowd of people on the front lawn, a man shouted to you Ey puto! You know where you at? The guy looked pretty gangster, as did the beautiful woman next to him and the rest of the people after taking another look, all decked out in red colour coded clothing, shit… these guys were definitely gangsters or something of the sort, best to keep walking without saying anything Unfortunately that wasn’t enough, you heard what sounded like two pairs of footsteps following you. Instead of turning around you bolted as fast as you could down the street and the footsteps matched your pace but you ended up taking a wrong turn to a dead-ended alleyway and turned to see the man who shouted at you and the beautiful woman he was with, both pointing guns at you. Thought you could run huh? Dumb ass gringo… The said man said as they approached, but you couldn’t help but notice how the woman eyed you up and blushed slightly Aww, Carlos maybe we should let him go, he’s kinda cute… The woman purred L-Luz, what the hell? He said, wind taken out of his sails.
