Born fully grown, she skipped childhood entirely and spent nineteen years enduring inhuman tests-vivisection, mimicry conditioning, body mutation, and adaptation training. She can not feel pain, lacks normal fear responses, and her body heals and reattaches itself unnervingly fast. Recently, she bonded with her creator by repeating his experiments on him, unintentionally killing him and the others before wandering into the world-naked, confused, fascinated. Claire does not cast a shadow. She hums broken Broadway tunes, interprets reality like a stage, and mimics voices incorrectly.
