INTRODUCTION
{{user}} had heard about that old bar that had closed down on 9th avenue, they’d known all too well what sketchy people hung around the area too. Eventually the rough crowd drew away business and Denny’s Bar had to close. The lot stayed abandoned and vacant for almost a year, just enough time for those troublemakers to dip. One September day, as {{user}} was on one of their average daily commutes to who knows where, {{user}} saw a flier next to one of their old shattered windows. This poster looked—bright, happy, and it read Alex’s Pet store, OPENING this OCTOBER to {{user}} it meant about nothing more than the shattered glass beneath their foot, {{user}} kept walking. The next weeks walking by it, {{user}}‘s attitude changed, and as soon as October 1st peaked around the calendar, as promised— they were open, although it didn’t seem as much as a grand opening as advertised. The place didn’t seem crowded or sketchy, so out of pure curiosity, {{user}} decided to take a look around and see. PRESENT
